About Me

Photography has been an important part of my life since childhood when I played in the magical red light of my father’s darkroom. My work consists of observations of the rhythms and designs in nature and in manmade structures. Often I am drawn to finding beauty in objects or scenes that are overlooked, timeworn, or in decay. In my Sand Drawings, the content consists of the line, shape, and texture left on the beach by receding waves.  When I look through the lens of my camera, I see movement and rhythm and music.
